I'm Currently working on a new bonnet for my 306 & I'm wanting to add air vents to move the heat away from the engine to help improve cooling.
I was wondering if it would be ok to take the padding off & replace it with something newer, or would it be just fine without it?

Not much point in putting it back on if your putting vents on the bonnet. If your putting a vent on over your top mount intercooler. You will be fine with out it. If you got another new one from pug you would have to cut it to bits anyway because of the vents your fitting.

Yeh the vent will be right over the intercooler. So I might get one.
