The Mercedes R Class is a special family MPV and most people are now seeking its facelifted model. Although not yet announced, the MPV is inching closer to production and the latest set of spy images reveal the R-Class facelift being tested for cold weather condition in Europe.
The R-Class facelift snapped was heavily camouflaged but it could still not conceal a new grille, along with redesigned bumpers and lighting units. On the inside, the facelifted R-Class will get a redesigned dash while the COMAND system, will also be updated. New integrations on the technical front will include Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Night View Assist making driving a lot easier. The engine options will stay the same as the current models with minor tweaks ensuring improved performance and efficiency. A Hybrid R-Class may also be on the cards in the future featuring hybridized 3.5-liter V6 engine from ML 450 Hybrid. [via WCF]
