Saab has made an announcement regarding the introduction of its new concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Saab also has their celebration on February 23rd by unveiling the 9-3 facelift in addition to the new concept.
The new vehicle is likely to be a preview of the 9-2, the much anticipated
model. The teaser images are also out. It shows the new vehicle as a hatchback. It is likely to have got a classic teardrop shape like that of the original 92 from 1949.
We already know that Saab CEO Victor Muller has prioritized 9-2 development. He also stated that the car will ride on a shortened version of the 9-3 platform or a platform from another automaker.
The new vehicle will be introduced in 2013 or in its succeeding year. The manufacturer pals to produce a total of 30,000 to 60,000 units annually. No more details are available on the concept.
