The Japanese have had the privilege of buying a rear wheel driven luxury saloon other than the Lexus, the Toyota Mark X. The word now is that the second generation of the Mark X will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show this week. The 2010 Toyota Mark X will share the platform from the Lexus GS and will come with two engine options– a 2.5L V6 capable of producing 203 horses and a larger 3.5L V6 beast that outputs nothing less than 315 hp. Six speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters will be common for both models however the all-wheel-drive will be limited to the smaller engine. Looks sleek from our end! [via Autoblog]
